Navigating Pluto TV on Roku

Once activated, use your Roku remote to explore:

  • Live TV — Browse the channel guide with hundreds of free live channels organized by genre.
  • On Demand — Access movies, TV shows, and specials available to watch anytime.
  • Search — Find specific content by title, actor, or genre.
  • My Stuff — Save your favorite channels and content for quick access.

Tips for the Best Pluto TV Experience on Roku

  • Connect your Roku via ethernet cable for the most stable stream if Wi-Fi is unreliable.
  • Keep the Pluto TV channel updated — outdated versions can cause buffering or crashes.
  • If the app becomes sluggish, try removing and re-adding the channel.
  • Use Roku's Private Listening mode with headphones via the Roku mobile app for late-night watching.

Troubleshooting Roku Activation Issues

If the activation code isn't working, ensure your Roku is connected to the internet and that the code hasn't expired. Codes are generally valid for about 15 minutes. Close the app, relaunch it, and a fresh code will be generated. For more help, see our full Troubleshooting section.
